Cascais City Council has launched the country’s first municipal Green Fund, with the aim of financially supporting families in the municipality in implementing energy efficiency and transition measures in buildings and homes.
About the Fund
The fund, which provides three million euros, aims to reduce energy costs and boost the decarbonization of the municipality, in line with the commitments of the Cascais 2050 Carbon Neutrality Roadmap.
The support is targeted at different IRS brackets, with special conditions for the most needy, allowing the adoption of sustainable and efficient technologies, such as photovoltaic panels and solar heating systems.
